Shane is a Graduate from Queen’s University Belfast having graduated in 1994. He attained a Certificate in Professional Legal Studies from Belfast’s Legal Institute in 1997.

Shane is a member of the Northern Ireland Children’s Order Panel and the Guardian Ad Litem Children Order Panel. He has a particular interest in all aspects of family law, both private and public, representing both children and parents. Shane represents clients in criminal matters, both Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court, civil litigation – County and High Court and provides representation at mental health tribunals.

In 2012, Shane also obtained a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy.
